We pulled our cotton slub jersey and shot it side by side — 140 gsm, 16 single, 16/2 single, 378 gsm — so you can see how the slub reads as the cloth gets heavier. The light end drapes for tees; the heavy end holds its shape for overshirts and heavier knits. Knit in Los Angeles.

We laid the duck out side by side — 10 oz, 12 oz, 20 oz, 24 oz — so you can see the jump before you order. The light end still folds and moves enough for aprons, tote linings and light workwear. By 24 oz the cloth stands up on its own: bags, covers, upholstery, anything that has to take a beating.

KBM Clothing is cut and sewn from the same knits we sell by the yard, in the same Los Angeles building. Nothing gets sourced in — we spin the plan, knit the cloth, dye it, and then make the shirt.
That is also how we know how it holds up. Every weight we sell has been worn, washed, and worn again before it goes on the shelf. If you want to feel the fabric before you order yards of it, start with a shirt.
